Legal information

Legal notice and privacy

The site's legal information, its hosting, intellectual property and the handling of personal data. For any question arising from these notices, write to leadership@missuniversefrance.org.

Publisher

This site is published by the Miss Universe France organisation. Contact address: leadership@missuniversefrance.org.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States.

Hosting is delivered from a global network, which entails technical processing outside the European Union. Those transfers are governed by the safeguards set out in Chapter V of the GDPR.

Intellectual property

The “Miss Universe” and “Miss Universe France” marks, and the associated logotypes, belong to their respective owners. This site refers to them in order to identify the competition it concerns.

The text on this site is published by the organisation. Photographs are published with the agreement of the people shown. A photographer’s credit is given where one has been supplied to us.

Personal data

This site collects personal data only if you give it to us: there is no user account and no analytics. Only the host’s technical logs, which record IP addresses for security and operational purposes, are generated by your visit.

The application, partnership and recruitment forms this site has linked to are hosted on Google Forms, not here: data entered there is processed by Google under its own terms. The 2026 application form, open from June to 28 August 2026, collected name, date of birth, email address and measurements among other fields. To request access to, correction of or erasure of an application you submitted, write to leadership@missuniversefrance.org.

This site sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Only cookies strictly necessary to the operation and security of the service may be set, and those are exempt from consent. That is why no consent banner is needed.

The site loads nothing from a third-party server: the typefaces are hosted on this same domain, precisely so that no visitor’s IP address is passed to anyone.

The full notice for that processing (controller, lawful basis, categories of data, recipients, retention period and how to exercise your rights) will be published here when the entity is constituted. Until then, the address above is how those rights are exercised.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation and French data protection law, everyone has rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over data concerning them.

These rights will be exercisable with the organisation as soon as any processing begins. Anyone may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07.

Accessibility

This site is built to target WCAG 2.1 level AA. What has been checked: contrast, keyboard navigation, heading structure, and respect for the system reduced-motion preference.

If you hit an obstacle on this site, report it. That is a defect, not something you should have to put up with.
